Arik joined the firm in 2010. He serves as Associate Portfolio Manager for the FPA Small/Mid-Cap Absolute Value Strategy and as Analyst for the FPA Hawkeye Strategy.

From 2004 to 2010, he was Portfolio Manager of Shamrock Capital Advisors’ Absolute Value Fund.  He also has experience in consulting and investment banking.  Arik earned a Bachelor’s degree in Economics from Northwestern University and an MBA from the University of California, Los Angeles.  He has been a director of Coinstar, Inc. (Nasdaq: CSTR) since 2008.
