Lake joined the firm in 2005. He is responsible for senior accounting, financial reporting and administrative tasks relating to FPA, mutual funds and institutional advisory accounts under management.  Before joining FPA, he served as Chief Operating Officer and Chief Compliance Officer of Inflective Asset Management, LLC.  He was previously Vice President and Controller of Transamerica Investment Management, LLC, Vice President and Chief Accounting Officer of Alta Residential Mortgage, Inc., Vice President and Controller of Southern Pacific Bank, and Audit Manager at KPMG Peat Marwick LLP.  Lake earned a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting from the University of Denver.
